Communicate Better Sprint to Sprint

SprintBook is an experimental tool built to help make Jira work better for designers and ease communications between team members.

Jira is Awesome...

Jira is Awesome...

When building a digital project, there are countless project management tools that can either help or hinder your efficiency in getting things done. We’ve found that Jira works best when used by Project Managers to plan and communicate the status of the project to the other parties involved in the project.

... Sometimes

... Sometimes

On the other hand, we have not found Jira to be a great tool for discussing and showing UX and UI notes without getting lost in other conversations or criteria. There are also great design tools like Zeplin, which are meant for sharing assets and designs, which work well until you try and force them to do too much.

A Source of Truth

A Source of Truth

In collaboration with the brilliant designers at Mutual Mobile, we built SprintBook as an extension to Jira, not as a complete replacement. By linking to an existing Jira project, it allows designers to walk stakeholders through their various design requirements and have conversations about any ambiguity. Additionally, Developers can use SprintBook as their source of truth for everything in Jira as well as all of the UI and UX notes added by the designers.
